GPS Steering System

 

The GPS (Global Positioning System), which officialy named NAVSTAR GPS (NAVigational Satelite Timing And Ranging - Global Positioning System), was put into operation at 17.07.1995 and was developed since 1970 from the US Ministry of Defense. Since 01.05.2000 the GPS System was set free for civil Users and reached an accuracy of +/- 5 Meter.

The accuracy in a centimeter Range get reached through a Differential correction Signal (DGPS) and is used in Agriculture for GPS Steering and Guiding Systems, for Yield Location, Seed, Fertilizer and AgChemical placement, and for Soil Analyzes.

2 Years after the official release of the GPS System for civil usage, Global Farming installed the first prototype GPS driven Steering Systems successful on 3 Tractors in east Europe and setup with this excellent running Mission a Milestone in its professional Reputation as a Market Leader for adjustments and consulting in Global Positioning Systems
